How do I combine the Sun Cream SPF 50+?
It is best to apply the Aura Essence or the Glow Serum on the skin beforehand. Let it absorb and then apply the Sun Cream SPF 50+ on the skin.

What is the texture like?
The Sun Cream has a very light silky soft texture. It is more a sun fluid with a serum-like texture.

What skin type is it best for?
All skin types and the non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic formula means that it's uniquely perfect for breakout-prone and sensitive skin.

Is it reef safe?
Our ingredients have been tested for being safe in a reef environment and have been shown to be safe according to European Environmental Protection testing standards and also are 100% microplastic free.

Does the Everyday Sun Cream SPF 50+ contain any perfumes or essential oils?
No, Everyday Sun Cream SPF 50+ contains no perfumes or essential oils. It has a natural smell which is similar to plum seed oil.

Is the product suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, the sun product is suitable for sensitive skin. Our UV filters are compatible. No hormonal effect, photostable, and without allergenic potential and nanoparticles.

What does it protect me from?
Protects against UVA, UVB and infrared radiation. It is water resistant, absorbs well and does not leave a white or sticky film.

What is the level of UVA protection?
The amount used under test conditions corresponds to about 4 pumps for the face. This results in a sun protection factor of 60 and a UVA factor of almost 30. The UVA protection is almost twice as high as prescribed for the UVA seal.

What is the quantity?
It is 50ml. Perfect to carry in your bag to take to your city or beach trip.

When does it expire?
Once open, please use it within 6 months. It can be used up to 12 months. But the general rule of thumb is never to start using a product and leave it untouched for 12+ months. All types of products lose their effectiveness.

What other care can I take to protect my skin?
There are a few things you can do to take care of your skin. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Avoid the sun during midday when the sun is at its highest point. In addition, use a hat or a cap to provide additional protection and avoid direct sun. Excessive sun exposure poses a serious health risk. Protect babies and small children from direct sunlight and use sunscreen with a high sun protection factor as well as protective clothing.

HOW TO USE IT

☼ Every morning, use 2-3 pumps and apply evenly to face, neck, chest and backs of hands. Apply NAYA Sunfluid liberally 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every two to three hours, especially after swimming, perspiring and towelling.

☾ Thoroughly remove sunscreen with the Everyday Cleansing Oil before you continue with your evening routine.

FAQs

This can be neither answered with a yes nor no. Mineral filters could be considered natural UV filters. However, they have dermatological disadvantages (drying out the skin).

Also, tiny zinc oxide and titanium particles actually have no place in our ecosystem. So they are not really natural.

Are organic UV filters natural?
Chemical UV filters are also called organic filters. But does that make them natural?

Not really. They are organic compounds, but they are substances that do not occur naturally in nature.

This is not a question one can clearly answer with a yes or no.

Sunscreen with SPF 50 is suitable for the increasingly stronger getting sun, for all skin types and all beach, outdoor and winter sports enthusiasts. The texture is feather-light and absorbs quickly and well leaving no white or sticky film.

Instead: A beautiful glow.

Important: apply to face, neck and décolleté about 30 minutes before sunbathing so that all filters can unfold optimally.

And: ideally renew every two hours, especially after swimming and heavy prespiring.

No, the product absorbs beautifully into your skin leaving no white cast or greasy residue. And leaves a beautiful glowy finish.

We are using a chemical UV-Filter to provide a feather-light texture while a strong protection against the sun.

Good sun protection is the best remedy against premature skin ageing. The combination of UVA, UVB and infrared rays damages the skin on all levels. Therefore: Always use the sun consciously and responsibly so that you can enjoy it and stay healthy. Especially if your skin is not used to the sun or is very fair. This means: Always go indoors between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the sun is at its most intense. It is better to stay in the shade. But here, too, it is essential to use a high level of sun protection.

In our EVERYDAY SUN collection, we combine intelligent preventative care with the latest filter technology: highly effective, but demonstrably harmless to humans and the environment. They do not accumulate in the organism, do not disturb metabolic processes or hormone balance, are photostable and uncritical for marine life.

While mineral filters are always compatible, you have to look very carefully at chemical UV filters.

A look at the list of ingredients can be worthwhile. Because a sunscreen with compatible chemical filters is just as harmless as a mineral sunscreen. And gives you other benefits.

The advantages are that modern chemical filters are much easier to remove from the skin surface because they do not penetrate the skin making it ideal for sensitive skin. Mineral filters stay on the skin longer and can accumulate in our horny layer. This means that mineral sunscreen products can dry out the skin.

After intensive study of the UV filters used over the last two years, we are now of the opinion that sunscreens with the right chemical filters are better. But it also remains a question of philosophy. Ultimately, it also depends on what you yourself feel most comfortable with.

Please note: There are many chemical sunscreen filters with undesirable side effects. Unfortunately, these are also the filter substances that are used most often, such as octocrylene.

By the way, a new study from 2021 shows that octocrylene breaks down over time. It breaks down into harmful substances. Therefore, you should never use a sunscreen with Octocrylene. We do NOT use this ingredient in our Sun Cream SPF 50.

All common UV filters have been classified as "safe" on the positive list of the Cosmetics Ordinance. Nevertheless, new studies are published all the time and we do not have the "average skin" in mind either, but our own and that of our family and customers. That is why we do not use the following UV filters.

These UV filters penetrate the skin:
Through various studies it is possible to conclude whether the skin lets the substances through or not.

Studies are regularly undertaken in which either the blood or the breast milk of test persons is examined for certain chemicals. If the UV filters are detected, it means that they have somehow entered the body.

There are also laboratory tests that examine the rate of penetration through the skin. For the UV filter Benzophenone-3, for example, a penetration rate of more than one percent was found. Other UV filters that do not pass this test are:
Benzophenone-3, Benzophenone-4, Benzophenone-5, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Homosalate, Octocrylene, Octyl Methoxycinnamate. We do NOT use any of these in our Sun Cream SPF 50. Learn more about harmful ingredients found in sunscreens in this article.
